ENVIRON is an innovative treatment for skin, treating Acne, Rosacea, Sun Damage, Photo Ageing, Broken Capillaries & Scarring. It also fights free radicals, which have been linked to premature ageing and wrinkling. 

It works completely differently from other skin care products due to its active ingredients. Classed as Cosmeceutical; partly cosmetic & partly pharmaceutical, the products get down to the lowest layers of the epidermis (the top layer of skin). If used with the cosmetic roll CIT, the product can actually penetrate the dermis (the bottom layer of skin). Fibroblast cells are the only active skin cells in the dermis, responsible for making Collagen (without which your skin would loose its tone and structure and with time will begin to sag) and  Elastin, important for the elasticity of the skin (loss of elastin will also cause skin to sag and to loose its taughtness).

The ENVIRON range contains high levels of Vitamin A or Retinyl Palmitate. Vitamin A is known to repair the cell DNA. Retinyl Palmitate was the first form of Vitamin A proved to be effective in rejuvenating mature skin. This product prevents tissue wastage and the destruction of collagen, which is generally found with ageing. Also containing Vitamin C, which works wonders for Pigmentation, Wrinkle & Acne and Vitamin E, which hydrates, heals and protects skin cells from U.V. attack. It is also a very good anti oxidant; fighting the free radicals.

As we age, skin starts to thin and wrinkles start to develop. Skin cells begin gradually losing elasticity, moisture lessens and the surface of the skin becomes drier. Cell turnover slows down and the complexion becomes less toned and uneven. Fine lines become deeper and the skin starts to sag. Cell renewal starts to slow down. The skin needs to be assisted by proper nutrition of all elements that contribute towards healthy cell behaviour. Dr Des Fernandes, an eminent dermatologist and plastic surgeon, is the founder of ENVIRON.  In 1979 & 1980, he lost two of his patients, neither being more than 23 years old, to skin cancer. This spurred him to search for a cure for skin cancer. In 1982 he started to use Vitamin A on his own skin and also on his patients who complained of acne, sun damage and photo ageing.
