Environ's Ionzyme C-Quence 4 is a high strength gel that is th ultimate treatment for most people. It contains a low dose of vitamin A in the form of Retinyl Acetate, medium doses of a very active, oil soluble form of vitamin C and chirally correct vitamin E. It also contains a cocktail of Matrixyl and Dermaxyl as well as three extremely powerful antioxidants, Lycopene (a tomato derivative), Green Tea and Rosemary extracts. It does not contain a sunscreen and must be used together with a sunscreen of SPF15 or higher. Contains no preservatives and is available with or without a fragrance.

The gel penetrates the skin rapidly and deeply, enriching the skin in essential highly active vitamins A,C and E as well as other powerful antioxidants.

The highly absorbable and very active oil soluble form of vitamin C penetrates more readily into the skin. It is a powerful antioxidant that assists in the prevention of UV induced cell damage.

Vitamin E is supplied as both Tocopheryl Acetate and the most effective form of vitamin E,Tocopherol - the natural alcohol form of vitamin E. They help to quench free radicals, enhancing the effects of the skin's natural sun protectors. They also assist in protecting collagen and making the skin look younger.

Lycopene is a carotenoid with the primary source being tomatoes. It is a powerful antioxidant that is more than 100 times more effective than vitamin E and twice as powerful as Beta Carotene. It aids in protecting the skin against damage caused by the high energy blue light.

Matrixyl*(Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3) is a synthetic combination of five natural amino acids, which when compared to Retinol, acts just as effectively but has the advantage of not inducing skin irritations or reactions.

Dermaxyl (Palmitoyl Oligopeptide) rehydrates the skin and assists in the reduction of sun damaged cells. It helps "plump"up the skin thereby reducing the depth of wrinkles and fine lines and giving the skin a smoother appearance. Dermaxyl is a combination of six natural amino acids which are found in the body and therefore not likely to cause any allergic reactions.

Pure Epigallocatechin Gallate, the active ingredient in Green Tea is possibly the most powerful antioxidant available - it assists in reducing the appearance of sun damage.

Rosemary extract is another powerful antioxidant.

Soya Bean Oil provides essential fatty acids, which assists with skin hydration.

Ceramide 2 helps to plump up the skin and enhances moisturisation thereby reducing skin dryness.

Indications for use:
Indicated for all skin types and ages but, in particular, for the more mature, photo damaged skin. It is not designed for problematic skin and should be used with caution in people with congested skin. Represents the target product for most people who have photo-damaged skin and pigmentation problems. Only to be used by those who have already acclimatised to Environ's Ionzyme C-Quence 1 and 2.

After pre-cleansing, cleansing and toning, apply the preferred C-Quence Gel. Apply sparingly by massaging into the face,neck and decollete area, both morning and evening. Allow to dry and then apply your preferred Original or Intensive product (if applicable), followed by either the C-quence Creme and RAD SPF16.

Packaging:
The C-Quence gels are presented in a 35ml special airless dispenser,with side windows for easy level identification that protects the active vitamins from light and air. The nozzle may become clogged due to the high concentration of active ingredients. It should, therefore, be removed frequently from the bottle and rinsed under warm water. Gently dry and replace on bottle. Shelf life six months unopened.

Should be used within 6 - 8 weeks after opening.
